The best part of this jobs is watching the hawks develop day by day. It's been four weeks since the release, and they're already flying around confidently and moving a bit further from the box daily. A few days ago, one of the hawks actually chased off a turkey vulture that was flying close to their food, and I couldn't help feeling proud of them... : )
Lo mejor de este trabajo es poder ver como van creciendo los buteos. Tras cuatro semanas de libertad, ya dominan el vuelo y cada día se alejan un "chin" más (como dicen acá). El otro día uno de ellos se puso a perseguir a un buitre que se acercó demasiado a su comida, y lo cierto es que no podía evitar sentirme orgulloso... : )
