south africa!

Still in DR, not in South Africa... yet. Just landed a job there from october to december doing behavioural studies with this bird:

No estoy en sudáfrica... aun. Acabo de conseguirme trabajo ahí de octubre a diciembre en un estudio de comportamiento de este pajarillo:

Over here it's been kinda busy last few weeks... Have barely gotten out with the camera, but here's a few shots from a morning I spent tracking Baikal. Being a raptor must be boring as hell (she hardly moved in 6 hours), but being able to spend time with a bird like this is priceless... at least for me ;-)

Por acá las últimas semanas han sido ajetreadas y apenas he salido con la cámara. Ahí van unas fotos de una mañana que pasé siguiendo a Baikal. La verdad es que la vida de rapaz tiene que ser aburrida. En 6 horas apenas se movió un par de veces, pero poder pasar un rato con un ave como esta no tiene precio... por lo menos para mi ;-)
