Gallocanta

Cranes are fair bit easier than lynx...
Las grullas son bastante más fáciles que el lince...
and they dutifully performed, leaving their roost in Gallocanta lagoon every morning before sunrise,
y cada día abandonaban su dormidero en la laguna de Gallocanta antes de que saliera el sol,spending the day in the surrounding fields,
pasando el día en los campos de los alrededores,

and going back every evening...
y volviendo cada tarde...

Andújar

Went looking for lynx in southern Spain. Saw no lynx, but did see imperial eagle,
En busca del lince por Andújar. El lince no se dejó ver, pero si el águila imperial,
and black vulture,
y el buitre negro,
and spent a lot of time just waiting for the lynx and messing around with the camera...
y mucho tiempo a la espera del lince que no llegó y jugando con la cámara...

Ireland VII: colours

One of the highlights of the summer out on the bog... Heather changing from this:

Might not look much, but the whole landscape changes from brown to purple-pink. Have to try and get some pics out in the mountains before that colour goes again.
No parece gran cosa, pero cambia los paisajes de marrón a un morado rosáceo en cuestión de semanas. A ver si salgo a fotografiar las montañas antes que desaparezca ese color.

And since it's plant time again, here's a fly-trap out on the bog.
Y ya que va de plantas la cosa, una carnívora en plena turbera.

Stuck in the office these days, but here's one from a month or so ago...
